Luke is Here!

I am happy to announce here that Luke has arrived!  He weighed 3340 grams and was 52 centimeters long at birth.

I am very happy about the experience I had giving birth to Luke in a Danish hospital with the assistance of the Danish midwives.  These women know what they are doing!  They really support you and care for you while you are going through labor.  Their approach is calm and reassuring and they are highly trained.  This profession is the most competitive profession to join in Denmark.  The training program is longer than a doctor's training program and only those students with the highest marks in school can enter the program. 

Luke is in my arms now...so I'll post a pic and run.
