This rainbow appeared outside our window two days after Luke was born. This photo includes our rooftop and the top of the mirabella tree in our backyard.
Last weekend Sean asked at the breakfast table, "What is God?" I wasn't quite sure what to say since there are many possible ways to answer this for a three year old. After a long pause I call from the other room, "God is a god." (Not helpful, am I!) Then Sean asks, "What is a god?" Then we go on to explain all the good things God can do. These talks are always interesting. Sean usually uses God to distinguish between God made things and man made things. He asks, "Did God build our house?"
The other day Sean asked me to play football with him (soccer for Americans). I told him I would but also said that I wasn't so great at football. Not to be deterred he said, "I can show you how to be great!"
This morning he asked his father if there was such a thing as robot doctors. He wonders who robots go to when they break something.
